GES employees will adhere to all local government and facility requirements. We will also adhere to our global employee requirements for working at a GES-contracted event.
All employees will perform a daily self-health check to evaluate if they have any COVID-19 symptoms. If they have symptoms and have been exposed, they will immediately call their supervisor and be instructed to not report for work. GES will specifically be requiring and screening for the following:
Employees to take a temperature check within 3 hours of show site shift
Temperature must be < 100F or 37.8C
All GES employees are required to immediately report any known COVID-19 exposure within the past 14 days
All GES employees will wear a face covering while at show site
GES will promote frequent and thorough hand washing according to CDC/WHO guidelines. If soap and running water are not available, alcohol-based wipes or sanitizer containing at least 60% alcohol will be provided
Encourage respiratory etiquette, including covering coughs and sneezes
Discourage workers from using other workers’ phones, desks, offices, or other work tools and equipment, when possible. GES will provide alcohol wipes for employees to clean common items and high-touch surfaces
Understand the importance of physical separation and staying 6 feet or 2 metres apart. If unable to be physical distancing, utilize proper PPE equipment.
If a gesture is needed during a meet and greet, we will encourage employees to use their elbow or another gesture as a greeting
All employees should hydrate frequently, especially those working in hot climates
Avoid handling paper when possible
Additional GES health and safety requirements may also be required depending on the type of work performed by the employee and the environment of any particular venue.
