LA Zoo Lights

The Los Angeles Zoo envisioned a breathtaking holiday light extravaganza in 2017 and GES Events delivered an experience that is sure to become a time-honored tradition.

GES Events collaborated with The Greater Los Angeles Zoo Association (GLAZA) to utilize new and existing assets to immerse visitors in a spectacular light display unique to the city. The experience included three new installations on the Zoo Lights route: a festive tree Holiday Welcome, the Santa North Pole photo area, and the Wild Wonderlands Finale.

Rain Room at MoMA

Rain Room is an installation featuring a 100 square meter area of falling rain that uses 3D tracking cameras to sense a person’s presence, allowing visitors to walk through the rain without getting wet. rAndom International created the concept and design but turned to us for the install and fabrication at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York City.

Brewster Travel Canada

In partnership with Brewster, this ambitious project provided an amazing opportunity to showcase GES’ broad spectrum of creative, fabrication, construction and installation capabilities. The experience brings breathtaking views along with a memorable interactive adventure including a holistic and family friendly interpretive experience, a specialty cinema and restaurant and an expanded rooftop viewing deck.

Glacier Skywalk

In 2012, Jasper National Park in Alberta, Canada, looked for new ways to increase park tourism. Brewster Travel Canada asked us to help design unique interactive features for their upcoming park attraction, the Glacier Discovery Walk.

Canada Heritage

As host country for the 2010 Olympic Winter Games, the Department of Canadian Heritage wanted a one-of-a-kind national pavilion to showcase the country’s Olympic feats and cultural heritage and promote travel and tourism. We created a 100% green, 5,000-square-foot structure packed with games, activities and memorabilia celebrating Canadian sports excellence and heritage.
