Through innovative customized solutions, a high level of service, and understanding and exceeding the needs of
clients and potential clients, GES Exposition Services has shown again why we are the leader in the exhibition industry.
Recently GES was awarded a four-year contract to serve as the official services contractor for the 1.25 million sq. ft. Chicago Auto Show – the nation’s oldest and largest automotive exposition. The contract, which begins in 2007, was awarded to GES as a result of the GES team presenting innovative solutions and a committed account team to plan and produce every physical aspect of the show. This team is not only dedicated to Chicago Auto Trade Association’s (CATA) planning needs, but also the needs of its clients, creating a seamless and efficient planning process.
“The depth and experience of GES’ Chicago operations and account management teams, as well as the company’s technology leadership and excellence in
operational planning were key factors in our board's decision to select GES as our show’s official services contractor,” said Chicago Auto Show General Manager & CATA President Jerry H. Cizek, III. “We also were very impressed with GES’ focus on exhibitor communication and their dedication to work with each exhibitor to assist them with budgeting and efficiently managing their costs.”
Innovative ideas, attention to service and fair pricing all culminated in GES being the CATA’s best choice.
The International Manufacturing Technology Show (IMTS) is another example of GES’ commitment to
customized solutions. GES worked with the Association For
Manufacturing Technology (AMT) to design a new innovative pricing plan for its IMTS exhibitors. Through a close collaboration, GES and AMT designed Custom Block Pricing packages that allowed exhibitors to better manage costs. All packages included drayage of machinery and displays, standard furniture, carpeting and nightly booth cleaning.
“We worked with GES to introduce a radical change to exhibiting at our 2006 show,” said Peter Eelman, AMT vice president – exhibitions. “Custom Block Pricing packages allow our exhibitors to budget better and it also helped with a very smooth move in,” continued Eelman. “We are very pleased with our partnership with GES; both organizations are committed to innovative solutions.”
GES understands that cost containment and exemplary customer service are critical to exhibitors. CATA and AMT are just two examples of the level of clients that GES attracts and retains through our focus on customized solutions. |
