GES Works with SnowSports
Industries America
Providing Extra Value to its Exhibitors
Increasing exhibitor value without increasing costs may sound challenging, but GES may be able to help you do just that. In reviewing exhibitor billing data from the SnowSports Industries America (SIA) trade show, GES recognized opportunities to provide greater value to SIA’s exhibitors. GES met with SIA to review the data and discuss how exhibitors could save money and increase the efficiency of the show by using GES for discretionary services.
How Exhibitors Benefit
Eliminating Unexpected Charges
The GES team identified ways to eliminate surprise charges due to inadequate planning. Charges like off-target material handling or increased outbound transportation rates can be avoided. GES Logistics offers single, flat rate transportation quotes and guarantees no off-target charges for clients utilizing GES Logistics.
Reducing the Cost of Exhibiting
The GES team reviewed exhibitor invoices and provided
recommendations on cost savings opportunities on material handling, I&D labor and custom exhibit design and fabrication. GES utilized existing savings programs to provide exhibitors with the highest value. Programs like the SIA warehouse program can save exhibitors on material handling or GES’ custom exhibit team can design a high impact, low-cost custom exhibit.
Eliminating the Middle Man
As a fully integrated official services contractor, GES can
provide a custom exhibit with I&D services, furniture, carpeting,
transportation, warehousing and other services without utilizing outside vendors. Eliminating outside vendors will eliminate additional product mark ups, saving the exhibitor money.
How the Program Works
When exhibitors call to secure booth space, the GES services are mentioned. If the exhibitor is interested, the show organizer e-mails the exhibitor the information. After reviewing past invoices, GES and the show organizer make recommendations for the exhibitor. It’s that easy.
“The partnership with GES uses our collective strength to save exhibitors money,” said Ed Wray, Eastern sales & marketing manager of SnowSports Industries America. “It’s incredible to work with a company like GES that helps us and our members. The program is easy to manage and it is absolutely the right thing to do for our exhibitors.”
