GES Technology and Innovations
In 2003, GES created a comprehensive five-year technology roadmap to replace most of its core applications. We’re now halfway there, and have introduced numerous technology services that ultimately make it easier to do business with GES.
There is a great opportunity to re-engineer and streamline all our core operational processes at our warehouses and show site and ultimately improve the exhibitor experience at the show. The new Show Services system will provide real time access to information, enabling GES and its clients to make sound business decisions. The new Show Services program will automate the paper processes, eliminate unnecessary activities, and allow GES to more quickly handle client needs.
In recent years, GES has launched several technology services that provide added convenience. Since the launch of GES® Online in 2003, we’ve continued to enhance the service, making it an industry-leading e-commerce site.
We’ve also enhanced GES Interactive VenueSM with upgrades that allow show organizers to manage advertising and sponsorship opportunities at facilities where their shows are produced. The latest enhancement offers unique, show specific sponsorship opportunities including virtual tours of the sponsorship locations in 16 popular facilities.
